~Lamborghini~

Automobili Lamborghini was founded by Feruccio Lamborghini. F. Lamborghini started out as a tractor building company in a small village in Italy called Sant'Agate Bolognese. F. Lamborghini changed his priority when he met with Enzo Ferrari at the Ferrari factory about the quality of the clutch in his Ferrari. But Enzo said that a person like Lamborghini to drive his tractors because he was not able do drive cars(failed to get a P license).


This is how Automobili Lamborghini was born. He had promised himself not to own any Ferrari ever again. The first car Lamborghini built was the Lamborghini 350 horsepower thanks to its V12 engine designed by an Ex-Ferrari engineer Giziotto Bizarrini. The car wasn't that successful but it gave the company ample capital to produce its first sports car called the Lamborghini Miura. The car was introduced at the 1965 Turin Auto Show. This car made Enzo Ferrari walk away covering his face in pure embarrassment.


As time pass, Lamborghini went on producing some of the most beautiful cars in the world. But in 1978 Lamborghini was declared bankrupt because of the 1970 oil crisis. The company was revived in 1987 by Chrysler cooperation buying every Lamborghini's shares. It was until 1994 when Chrysler was in poor economic circumstances and was forced to sell Lamborghini to Megatech an Indonesian company. But Lamborghini was then sold again to its present owner Audi AG,it was 1998 at that time.


Sales increased dramatically since Audi took over Lamborghini, from 211 sales per year during 1996 to 2500 sales per year during 2007. This sales was thanks to the most famous Lamborghini in history, the Lamborghini Gallardo.


Hey, why am I talking about cars all the time?? Talking about the company's history this and that. I want to get one, I want to feel one or at least see one Lamborghini with my very own eyes. Talking more about this makes me disappointed because there are only a few cars in Malaysia. This sucks!! Malaysia is like 100 times bigger than Singapore but there's like only 10 over here, but Singapore recently had another 100 Lamborghinis imported into their country. This ain't fair, I want one!! At least a freaking ride in a Gallardo~~wuwuwu T^T sobx sobx
